This is a time of convergent crises and increasing tension both within and between countries around the world. These include the COVID-19 pandemic and risk of global recession, the climate crisis, increasing inequality and division, and the ongoing learning crisis.
The global disruption of Covid provides an important opportunity to address the historical challenges and inequities of education provision and quality. The new e-book Education Reimagined: Leadership for a New Era can help position the education sector to have a significant influence on improved social, economic and environmental outcomes across the Global South and North. Mixing innovative practical experience and advice in leadership practice and development Education Reimagined provides a platform for engaging the education community, and community more broadly in reimaging the world’s future.
The World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) Agile Leaders of Learning Innovation Network (ALL-IN) was established in 2017 as a global community of practice for educational leadership experts that research, design, and advocate for high quality school leadership policies that prepare and support school systems in educating the learners of today and the future.
It is an action-oriented global community of practice of education leadership experts – including program providers, academics, practitioners and policymakers – that support and enable research, collaboration, program design, and policy advocacy to develop future-fit school leaders and, ultimately, influence sustainable education reform to create healthy, thriving and equitable learning ecosystems that benefit the learners of today and the future.
WISE and their partners the Centre for Strategic Education and Salzburg Global Seminar have invited the Agile Leaders of Learning Innovation Network to mark the launch of the new ALL-IN special publication Education Reimagined: Leadership for a New Era on March 22, 2022. This is the first ALL-IN community special publication and the outcome of a series of community collaborations throughout 2021. The book is accompanied by a podcast series hosted in partnership the Learning Future and available here.
The event will take place on Tuesday, 22 March, 15:00 – 18:30 (Doha time).
